Holiday Gift Guide 2022

Clean gifts for the holiday season

I’m so excited to once again bring you my gift guide for this holiday season! There are so many places to shop and so many things to shop for so my gift guide is focused on supporting small businesses, businesses that use sustainable practices, and of course, more importantly, companies using clean ingredients in their products! I’ve got something here for everyone on your list!

Skincare and Beauty

We all want to look our best but without all the harmful ingredients in most make up and skin care. The holidays are the perfect time to give more good and share the joy if safer beauty. Here’s a round up of my favorite clean beauty gift sets!

For the make up lovers - Going places make up kit and Essentials Eye Shadow Pallet! This new pallet is my absolute fav that Beautycounter has ever come out with. Truly, the colors look fabulous on anyone and are formulated without heavy metals and talc.

For the skincare obsessed, the Best in the Clean Heroes is perfect. Mini versions of our best selling skincare products and the perfect intro for someone into clean beauty. They’re also refillable and great for travel!

For the spa lover, our Goodbye Dry Body Duo is the perfect set! This sugarbuff body polish is what we all need to combat this dry winter weather and the creamy body butter in limited edition Monoi scent is deeply hydrating and smells like you’re on a tropical vacation!

Best sets to break apart - what I love about Beautycounter’s gift sets is you can buy one set and break it apart for multiple gifts! Pair one of our award winning mini Beyond Gloss lip glosses with a matching nail polish, a pair of warm mittens, a bottle of wine, or a gift card to a local coffee shop for a unique gift. Gifting teachers this year? Our hand creams are the perfect accompaniment to a clean hand sani! Are you kids gifting their friends? Grab the fun, clean flavored lip jellies, punch a whole in the tube, and loop it into a cute keychain! Great for teachers and nurses too on their name tags or key chain!

Cozy vibes

This season for me is all about creating the coziest, homey vibes. I’m talking warm smells, soft sweaters, comfy loungewear, and cozy blankets. A lot of those things come with harmful ingredients like phthalates used in scented candles, and pesticides used on fabric. That’s why I love Basic Bee Candles. Shannon formulates her candles using bees wax which is much safer that paraffin wax to burn, 100% cotton wicks, and only natural scents from essential oils. For comfy clothing, I LOVE MATE the Label and PACT. Both companies use 100% organic cotton that is sourced ethical and ensure farmers and workers are paid fair trade wages. Another brand I recently discovered for sustainable, clean clothing is Quince. I’m currently eyeing their bedding and ethically made cashmere throw blankets! This company also shares their sustainability practices and lists where the fabric is sources from for each product, as well as which products are carbon neutral or use low waste practices.

Health

If you or someone you know is focused on improving their overall health this year, you’ll love all the fitness trackers out there! I recently have been eyeing the Oura ring myself. This beauty not only looks chic, but it tracks your sleep, your body readiness for the day so you know how hard to push yourself or when to taper back, as well as body activity throughout the day. It even can indicate when you might be getting sick, and tracks your basal body temperature and fertility cycle for women! For a more budget friend tracker, the FitBit Luxe has many similar features to the Oura, including tracking overall health insights and providing you a readiness score for the day!

Subscription boxes

I saw so many people set a new year’s goal last year to read more! As we put down our screens, reading habits seem to have increased. Book of the Month is the perfect gift for your book loving bestie. They’ll get a best selling, hard cover novel once a month for the span of time you gift for (3 months, 6 months or 12 months). And what goes better with a book than a warm cup of coffee or lightly chilled glass of wine? These next two subscriptions are ones I have subscribed to myself for over 2 years and absolutely LOVE! We get a bag of Conscious Coffee delivered to our door once a month and y’all, this truly is the best coffee I’ve tried in the states. It’s organic, sourced using fair trade practices, and roasted in Boulder, CO. And for your wine loving family and friends, there truly is no better wine than that sourced through Dry Farm Wines. They only source wine from small, family owned vineyards around the world that use dry farm irrigation practices, meaning they utilize far less water than conventional vineyards. Not only that, they lab test EVERY bottle to ensure there are no additives other than wild yeast added to the wine (this means so added sugars, sulfites, or colorants)! And the wines are truly amazing. Gift a box of 3, 6, or 12 wines!

I hope this guide was helpful for you! In full transparency, I make a commission of Beautycounter purchases when you use my links in this blog, as well as a small commission on Dry Farm Wines. Both are brands I chose to partner with because I truly love them and use myself. The others are brands I also love and share no affiliation with. Wishing you a beautiful and happy holiday season!
