Why I decided to get the COVID-19 vaccine

I know in this community, there is a stigma around vaccines. I hope this research and post helps you to make an informed decision about the vaccine and your health!

My research behind the vaccine

Last week, I got the first round of Moderna’s vaccine to fight COVID-19. I know many on here are skeptical of vaccines in general, and specifically this one so here’s some facts to help you form your decision.

The mRNA vaccine produced by Modern and Pfizer does NOT contain a live virus. Instead, it uses technology that has been in the works for 30 YEARS. The body is injected with synthetic mRNA which enters human cells and “instructs” the cells to create a protein that mimics that found on the COVID-19 virus. Your body then initiates an immune response to attack these foreign proteins while in the process, creates antibodies to detect and react to the COVID-19 virus and it’s foreign proteins in the future so it won’t make a person sick!

The mRNA vaccines DO NOT contain formaldehyde, aluminum or any of the “red flag” ingredients that are found in traditional vaccines. It DOES contain PEGs which I’ve talked about the importance of avoiding due to their hormone-disrupting properties, but here’s the deal…

As much as we try, we can’t eliminate toxic chemicals completely and our bodies are actually well equipped to detoxify naturally when chemicals such as PEGs enter our system. If you are already living a low tox lifestyle, and have eliminated many harmful chemicals from your environment, then your body is fully equipped to detox the ingredients from the mRNA vaccine.

There are numerous studies indicating both the safety and efficacy of these vaccines. After understanding the way the vaccine works, and researching the ingredients (you can easily find the list of 11 ingredients online), I made the informed decision that I want to protect those who are vulnerable around me by helping our society obtain herd immunity through vaccination. COVID has taken too many lives and I am so grateful for western medicine in times like this.

It’s important to continue leading a clean lifestyle by paying attention to the ingredients in your personal care products, in your cookware, in your furniture, and all the other areas in your life you can fully control. But here, right now, I’m choosing to take responsibility to save lives and know that because I live a healthy lifestyle, my body can handle the vaccine.

Note - this post is intended for those who have no underlying health conditions. If you have a history of anaphylaxis, an autoimmune disorder, or other underlying condition, you MUST consult your doctor before taking this vaccine.

Live. Live. Clean. And stay safe!
